Where we live, we don't dare hide Easter treats outside. There are too many critters out here in the desert that'll smell the goodies. Rabbits. Coyotes. Javelinas (wild pigs). Yeah. Not a good idea to have ANY kind of food item outside overnight.
So...the Easter bunny hides eggs in our house.
And our kids go to town! The bunny places the eggs in interesting places.
You'll note from the photos above that we do plastic eggs. I don't do the hard-boiled version because I'm basically the only one who'd eat them.
The kids have loads of fun running all over downstairs finding the eggs.
But the BEST part? Is opening up the plastic eggs to see how much loot they end up with.
